State Road 17 Roundabout

Wright provided Construction Management services for the addition of a roundabout to replace a flashing light at the SR 17 and CR 17B intersection. Included in the scope of work were drainage, structures, lighting and signs, curbs and gutters, and landscape. The central island has six sabal palms, 376 SF of parsons juniper, and 876 SF of perennial peanut.
During the first three construction phases, temporary pavement next to the existing lanes was installed. The roadway was then resurfaced building curb and gutter and the installation of drainage structures. The final phase included the construction of the central island and traffic separators, installation of light poles, removing the old flashing signal, and asphalt paving.
