Mile Marker 63 Public Safety Center

Design-Build Services were provided for the Collier County new Public Safety Facility along with two large National Park Service (NPS) access area parking lots servicing the Florida Trail. All components were constructed in the heart of the Everglades, a federally protected wilderness on I-75 at Mile Marker 63. The public safety center accommodates four to six Collier County EMS personnel, greatly enhancing public safety in the Alley. Each NPS Access Area accommodates up to 15 vehicles and 25 trucks or trailers. Equipment and vehicle maintenance, as well as storage bays, support the need for emergency service in a remote location. The building includes housing, offices, an exercise room, and full kitchen/dining areas.
The project has been certified LEED GOLD.
